Nightjar Festival

Gyoza Records

Gyoza Records was born during the great plate and bowl shortage that hit Japan in 1963. Improvising, people took to eating their gyoza from old records left behind by American soldiers.

Today, with the blessings of Gyoza King, Yoshitaka Yamamoto, and the skills of Gyoza Master, Tomohisa Hiraoka, Gyoza Records marches boldly forward in the quest for Gyoza perfection.

West Sunday

Founded by Melbourne designer Kate Pool, West Sunday is her creative outlet. Kate doesn’t follow trends; she simply creates unique pieces she truly loves.

Each hand made bag and jacket is something she’d be proud to give to her sister or best friend. Combining her love of West Melbourne & Sundays, her brand West Sunday was born. No detail is overlooked, from the lining to colourful pom poms & delicate fringing.

Kate is happiest tinkering away in her studio, baking in the kitchen and of course, adventuring on Sundays.

Welcome to West Sunday.

Wayne O’Farrell Photography

I used to take music pics in the 80s and 90s (both in Australia and overseas) and recently decided to display them, having my first exhibition in Fitzroy last year.

My beach pics reflect the coastal lifestyle and are taken locally each morning as I’m walking my dog.
