Mojo Corner

Such is the growing character of the new breed blues musicians who take the bull by the horns, The Mojo Corner have developed a reputation for hard rocking blues in their short time together.

The boys are a musical salad bowl, with Shaun Hilton’s bass groove lines, Johnny Hawken’s strong vocals and driving guitar, and top this with Rory Millar’s gravelly vocals and biting harmonica licks. Here you have a band that pushes passion and emotion right to the limit. With the electricity of the blues flowing through their veins you can’t stop your foot tapping and your heart pumping.

“It’s blues like you’ve always wanted to hear it on a night out. Our own songs are our real life stories. It is what we feel when we write and play our own music,”

They have played hundreds of gigs including the 2015 Woodford Music Festival, Echuca Blues Festival, the Bendigo Blues and Roots Festival, and most recently 2016 Queencliff Music Festival. The Mojo Corner have played along side and supported many other prolific blues artists as Russell Morris, Colleen Hewitt, Chris Wilson, Ash Grunwald, Jeff Lang, Geoff Achison, Jeff Martin, Lloyd Spiegal, and Collard Greens and Gravy just to name a few.

This energetic four piece band, loves to play live! By just watching this band you can’t help but become involved. With the pulse of the blues pouring out of them, you can’t help but fall in love with The Mojo Corner!

The Woodland Hunters

60’s guitar wig outs to swamp rock, 70’s jam bands to raw and dusty Americana! Based in Melbourne, The Woodland Hunters released their debut EP, recorded and produced by Shane O’Mara in late 2015 and the first single ‘If You Want to Wear That Crown’ reached the top 10 (both metro and regional) in the AMRAP Charts for plays on Community Radio Stations nationally.
The second half of 2016 was spent back in Yikesville Studio with Shane, fuzzing up the guitars and going on a 70’s trip – recording a full album. Titled ‘Lets Fall Apart’ The Woodie’s debut LP was released early in 2017. The Woodland Hunters might just be your Next Favourite Band…

Kallidad

Dressed all in black and clad in their infamous “Day of the Dead” face paint, Kallidad’s music is so difficult to describe that the band has created its own genre “Trash Flamingo”. Combining Spanish Flamenco, Mexican Mariachi and South American guitar styles with tribal, rock and metal rhythms has seen Kallidad forge a brand new vibe in the music world. The music is all instrumental- there is no singing but the music is so engaging many people don’t even notice that vocals are absent!
